Pratik Sandesh Pawar

Chef Pratik Pawar

Pratik has successfully completed his Bachelor’s in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), which laid the groundwork of his journey into the diverse and dynamic world of hospitality. He has also done his master’s degree in Hospitality Tourism at the prestigious college Suryadatta Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to KKSU. With 5 years of Hotel Industry experience specialised in western cuisine.

Since 2021 he has been working as Assistant Professor at MCH and handling Basics of Food Production, Quantity Kitchen and Advanced Culinary for the students of MCH.

Jayant Lohar

Mr. Jayant Lohar

Jayant Lohar Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science from IHM Silvassa and a Master’s in Hospitality from AIHM Chandigarh augmented by an intensive 4-month teaching training program with a focus on Hospitality. 

In MCH, he is taking care as food and beverage faculty and entrepreneurship educator, Jayant is dedicated to fostering holistic growth among students. By merging theoretical teachings with hands-on experiences, He creates an immersive learning environment where students not only grasp the fundamentals of food and beverage theory and practical skills but also delve into the intricacies of entrepreneurship.

He empowers them to explore their creative potential, guiding their understanding of culinary arts, business models, market analysis, and the art of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Through mentorship, interactive sessions, and practical projects, Jayant instils in them the confidence, skills, and entrepreneurial mind-set needed to thrive in the dynamic food industry. His goal is to not just impart knowledge but to cultivate a passion for excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning, ensuring each student is equipped to make meaningful contributions and lead in the vibrant world of food and beverage entrepreneurship.

Kunal Sodhi

Mrs. Kunal Sodhi

Kunal Sodhi- with a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management (BHM), from PES Institute of Hotel Management, affiliated to Bangalore University. He has also pursued certificate course in Professional bartending from Bar Square India, Bangalore. He has 4 years of Industry and 8 years of Teaching Experience. Started his career with Industrial experience from ITC Gardenia and then moved on different reputed organisations like Taj, Bar Sqaure Academy of Bartending, Brewsky – Micro Brewery in Bangalore. His first teaching journey started with PES University as Assistant Professor then gained experience in organisation like IIFA Lancaster Degree College, T John College, M. A. Rangoonwala Institute of Hotel Management & Research As a dedicated instructor in Food & Beverage Service, Entrepreneurship, and Bakery, he plays a crucial role in shaping students’ skills, fostering entrepreneurship spirit, and providing hands-on knowledge essential for their future success in the culinary and business fields. His guidance not only imparts technical expertise but also inspires a passion for innovation and excellence among the students.

Ms. Sophia Francis

Ms. Sophia Francis is armed with a M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management, B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies and Catering Services, B.A in Hospitality Management, and an Advanced Diploma in International Hospitality Administration, supplemented by a certificate in Food & Nutrition commands a robust educational background.

Accumulating over 8 years of versatile proficiency as an Operations Head, Facility Manager, and a dedicated Dietician, Sophia Francis brings unparalleled industry insights. In her esteemed role as a faculty member at Magarpatta College of Hospitality, she passionately forges a seamless link between theoretical concepts and practical expertise through skillful mentorship. Her expertise in nutrition enlightens the critical role of food service, opening new dimensions of understanding and impact. Under her mentorship, aspiring professionals seamlessly evolve into the visionary leaders defining the future landscape of the industry.

She educates, instructs, and guides students in Food and Beverage Service, Accommodation Services, and Communication Skills.

Ms. Bandana Singh

Ms. Bandana Singh

Ms. Bandana Singh, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in the hotel industry. She holds an M.A. in Tourism Management and a diploma in Hotel Management from NSHM School of Hotel Management in Durgapur, West Bengal.

Ms. Singh excels in various facets of hospitality, including accommodation operations and management. Her extensive experience encompasses guest interactions, housekeeping operations, travel and tourism management, front-office operations, soft skills management, and accommodation Management.

Beyond her practical knowledge, Ms. Singh has contributed to both domestic and international journals through her published papers. She is also a certified ISO auditor, showcasing her commitment to maintaining high standards in the industry.

She teaches Housekeeping and Accommodation Management, guiding students through the academic aspects of the subject and providing insights into the workings of the hotel industry, making it easy for them to grasp both the theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

Sourabh Jadhav

Sourabh Jadhav – With a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) from AJMVPs’s IHMCT, Ahmednagar, and a Master’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) from MSIHMCT, Pune, he has a strong academic foundation in the field.

His focus on the front office in hotel management, coupled with his responsibility for training and placement, showcases a diverse skill set. Having published two international papers and authored a book on “essential communication skills for hospitality professionals”, Mr. Jadhav has contributed significantly to the academic and professional literature in the field.

With a total of 10 years of combined experience in both the teaching industry and the hotel sector, Mr. Jadhav brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his role. His six years of hands-on experience in the hotel industry, combined with four years of teaching, make him a seasoned professional.

In MCH he is teaching a front office subject in college, guided by teachers, fosters practical skills, industry knowledge, and problem-solving abilities. It emphasizes effective communication, professional etiquette, and teamwork, while also developing leadership and adaptability. Teachers facilitate networking opportunities and offer career guidance, preparing students for diverse roles within front office management and ensuring they stay current with industry trends.
